TVG Nutrition Sdn Bhd ("The Vegan Malaysia") Effective Date: 2026
Thank you for shopping with The Vegan Malaysia. To provide members with a safe and enjoyable shopping experience, TVG Nutrition Sdn Bhd has established these Member Service Terms to protect the rights and interests of all members. Before registering as a member, please read these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy carefully. By registering or using any services provided on this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms stated herein. If you do not agree, please do not register or use our services.
The Vegan Malaysia reserves the right to revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website without further notice. We encourage you to check this page regularly to stay informed of any changes.
1. Member Registration and Obligations
a. To use our services, members must provide accurate, complete and up-to-date personal information. Members must not register under a third party's name. Each member is limited to one account and must not register multiple times.
b. Members are responsible for keeping their personal information current and accurate to ensure the best service experience.
c. If false or incorrect information is provided, the member shall bear all resulting losses. The Vegan Malaysia reserves the right to suspend or terminate the account and refuse access to all or part of our services.
d. The Vegan Malaysia reserves the right to refuse registration, request changes, or cancel membership rights if any provided information is duplicated, impersonates another person, infringes on intellectual property rights, violates public order, or is suspected of breaching applicable laws.
e. The Vegan Malaysia reserves the right to terminate any account that violates the law, breaches these Terms, or abuses our services.
2. Accounts, Passwords and Security
a. If a member is under the age of 18, they must review these Terms together with a parent or legal guardian. Use of our services by a member under 18 is deemed to indicate that the parent or guardian has read and agreed to these Terms.
b. Members are responsible for keeping their account credentials confidential. Members are fully responsible for all activities carried out using their account.
c. The Vegan Malaysia will not be liable for any damages resulting from a member's account being compromised due to the member's own actions or negligence.
d. If a member's account or password is misused or stolen, please notify us immediately at admin@thevegan.com.my. Upon confirmation, The Vegan Malaysia will promptly suspend the affected account.
e. Account credentials are for personal use only. Members must not share, transfer, lend or otherwise provide their account access to any third party.
f. If a member uses our services to infringe the rights of others or engage in illegal activities, the member shall be solely liable for all resulting legal consequences. The Vegan Malaysia reserves the right to revoke membership and claim all damages incurred, including reputational harm and legal costs.
3. Orders and Transactions
a. In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act applicable in Malaysia, members have the right to return eligible products within 7 days of receiving their order, provided the product is unused, unopened and in its original condition. This right does not apply to products purchased under special promotions where returns are explicitly excluded, as stated on the relevant product page.
b. You agree to place orders based on the confirmed quantity and pricing shown at checkout. The Vegan Malaysia reserves the right to reject any order within 3 working days of placement for legitimate reasons, including but not limited to pricing errors, stock availability or suspected fraudulent activity.
c. The Vegan Malaysia reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate any promotion or discount activity on this website at any time.
d. All prices are listed in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
4. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Conduct
Members must not use our services for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that violates applicable Malaysian laws and regulations. Prohibited conduct includes but is not limited to:
a. Distributing or transmitting defamatory, threatening, offensive, obscene, false or unlawful content in any form
b. Infringing on the intellectual property rights, privacy, reputation or trade secrets of The Vegan Malaysia or any third party
c. Impersonating any person or entity
d. Transmitting computer viruses or any harmful code
e. Conducting unauthorised commercial activities through our platform
f. Sending spam, chain letters, unsolicited marketing messages or any content that violates applicable law
g. Any conduct that causes inconvenience, harm or offence to other users or third parties
h. Any behaviour that The Vegan Malaysia reasonably deems inappropriate or inconsistent with the intended use of our services
5. Protection of Member Data
All personal data collected is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is collected, used and protected.
6. Service Interruption
The Vegan Malaysia will maintain normal system operations using accepted technical standards. However, we may suspend or interrupt services under the following circumstances:
a. Scheduled maintenance of our platform or technical infrastructure
b. Unexpected equipment or server failure
c. Force majeure events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control
7. Marketing Communications
By registering as a member, you agree that The Vegan Malaysia may send newsletters, product updates and promotional materials to your registered email address. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any of our emails or by contacting us at admin@thevegan.com.my.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on The Vegan Malaysia website, including but not limited to text, images, product photography, brand assets, website design and layout, is owned by TVG Nutrition Sdn Bhd or used with authorisation from the rights holder. No content may be reproduced, distributed or used in any form without prior written consent from The Vegan Malaysia. Violation may result in immediate account termination and legal action.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Vegan Malaysia provides its platform and services on an "as available" basis. We do not warrant that our website will be error-free, uninterrupted or free from harmful elements. To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, The Vegan Malaysia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use our services.
10. Delivery and Third Party Service Providers
To fulfil your orders, The Vegan Malaysia will share necessary personal data (such as recipient name, delivery address and contact number) with our appointed logistics and courier partners. This is done solely for the purpose of delivering your order.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
